Louis Vuitton seeks an experienced Product Manager for Watches and Objects of Art in Paris. Lead strategic horological development and global launches.
Role & Responsibilities
- Establish and execute long-term product strategy for watch and timepiece collections, balancing Genevan horological heritage with Louis Vuitton's pioneering creative vision, including management of complex high-complication and métiers d'art developments
- Brief and collaborate closely with the Creative Director on product initiation, from conceptual briefs through design validation and final approval
- Co-pilot industrial development with project managers from technical specifications through product launch, ensuring timely execution against retroplanning and maintaining comprehensive project tracking across all databases
- Conduct regular on-site progress reviews at La Fabrique du Temps in Geneva and with external partners to monitor product advancement
- Define and optimize pricing strategy leveraging market intelligence and collaborate with development teams to ensure margin targets
- Manage intellectual property strategy for all product developments in coordination with legal teams
- Define and coordinate the creation of premium product environments—packaging, presentation cases, certificates, accessories, sales collateral—with internal stakeholders
- Work closely with commercial teams to align new product proposals with long-term category vision and to manage product life-cycle transitions
- Participate in major client events, manage high-touch personalization requests and exclusive special orders within scope
- Prepare and lead internal product presentations for markets, ensuring immersive showroom experiences through curated information and compelling digital assets
- Develop comprehensive sales support tools and launch packages for all commercial markets
- Brief press teams on dossier content, review materials for accuracy and clarity
- Orchestrate communication strategy and content creation across digital, editorial, media, celebrity partnerships, and social channels, coordinating all stakeholders through integrated timelines
- Oversee product content creation and artisanal storytelling from initial brief through photography and post-production retouching
- Collaborate with Editorial and Art Buying teams on high-impact product presentation brochures for select clientele
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of successful product management experience in luxury goods, watches, or high-end timepieces
- Deep knowledge and genuine passion for horological craftsmanship, watchmaking heritage, and artisanal métiers
- Proven expertise in complex product development and industrial project management within luxury sectors
- Demonstrated proficiency in cross-functional stakeholder management and ability to influence without direct authority
- Strong intellectual property and regulatory compliance awareness within luxury product development
- Experience coordinating global product launches and communication strategies across multiple markets
