Louis Vuitton seeks experienced Product Manager for Watches and Decorative Objects in Paris. Lead horological innovation and luxury product development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term product strategy for watch and decorative object collections, blending Genevan horological tradition with Louis Vuitton's pioneering spirit
- Create comprehensive product briefs for the Artistic Director and guide design validation through completion
- Co-pilot industrial development with project leads, manage retroplanning timelines, and ensure portfolio tracking across databases
- Conduct regular site visits to La Fabrique du Temps in Geneva and partner locations to monitor product advancement
- Define pricing strategy and manage margins in collaboration with development teams
- Oversee intellectual property strategy for product portfolio in coordination with legal teams
- Develop and coordinate exceptional product environments (packaging, presentation cases, certificates, accessories, brochures)
- Collaborate with commercial teams to align new product launches with category strategy and manage product lifecycle decisions
- Participate in major client events, oversee personalization requests, and manage exclusive custom orders
- Prepare internal product presentations for showrooms and ensure comprehensive product information and asset creation
- Develop all sales enablement tools and launch packages for market distribution
- Brief and oversee press team for press kit development with rigorous content review and clarity assurance
- Brief communications teams (Digital, Press, Media, Art Buying, Celebrity Relations) and orchestrate content strategy across channels and stakeholders
- Coordinate product content creation and craftsmanship storytelling from brief through photography and retouching
- Develop presentation brochures for exceptional projects in collaboration with Editorial and Art Buying teams
Qualifications
- Demonstrated passion for horology, decorative objects, and artisanal craftsmanship
- Proven track record as a Product Manager in luxury or high-end sectors
- Strong understanding of complex horological complications and art métier techniques
- Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, adapt, and manage multiple concurrent initiatives
- Outstanding interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills
- Natural ambassador quality with ability to activate stakeholders across departments
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of successful product management experience, preferably in luxury watches, fine jewelry, or artisanal goods sectors. Experience managing complex technical products and cross-functional international teams required.
Education
Graduate degree in business, product management, marketing, or equivalent field preferred; luxury industry knowledge or horological studies a significant asset.
