Louis Vuitton Product Development Assistant internship in Paris. 6-month role in leather goods merchandising, collections, and product strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in collection development in coordination with the Product Manager, including collection plan updates, price and functionality mapping, and duplicate management between design and industrial departments
- Monitor collection launches and validate industrial specifications to ensure production readiness
- Develop sales support tools including product argument sheets, visual materials, and newsletters for the retail network
- Prepare and participate in buying sessions to present collection strategy to store partners
- Conduct weekly competitive intelligence and maintain updated price and product offering mappings
- Execute ad hoc competitive and trend studies to inform collection positioning
- Coordinate product tracking with Press and Advertising teams, manage sample ordering and delivery, oversee product loans in alignment with press days and shooting schedules
- Adapt responsibilities according to assigned product category and evolving business priorities
Qualifications
- Strong sensitivity to fashion and luxury industry aesthetics and values
- Rigor and precision in analytical and administrative work
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively in team environments
- Business or fashion school graduate, or equivalent university qualification
- Fluent English proficiency
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)

Entry-level or graduate with no prior professional experience required. Academic background in commerce, fashion, or related discipline preferred.
Education
Student currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a business school, fashion school, or equivalent university programme.
