Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage designer requests for new collection development, aligning with Marketing briefs and strategic direction
  • Source specific materials, techniques, and suppliers in response to project briefs
  • Monitor arrival of mock-ups and prototypes for collection meetings and conduct weekly development follow-ups
  • Execute supplier liaison and vendor management throughout product development cycles
  • Create development and research-related orders and manage procurement workflows
  • Oversee special order samples, including order placement, delivery coordination, and dispatch
  • Guide the creative brief through all phases from conception to GO STYLE authorization
  • Develop and implement re-use and circular creativity approaches to product development
  • Apply Design to Cost methodology to optimize production efficiency and margin
  • Remain sensitive to regulatory topics and compliance requirements in product specifications

Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in product development roles for accessories (metal, leather, multiple materials)
  • Strong passion for luxury goods and demonstrated understanding of the high-end market
  • Knowledge of leather goods development and design
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software
  • Fluent in Italian and English; French highly advantageous
  • Ability to influence cross-functional organizations with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent communication skills in diverse stakeholder environments with strong adaptability
