Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of four procurement officers and two flow managers.
  • Define and oversee the procurement strategy, integrating client service needs within an industrial environment.
  • Analyze and anticipate spare parts consumption to ensure availability while managing stock levels.
  • Supervise purchase orders in alignment with client demand, optimizing lead times and preventing stockouts or overstock.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance, focusing on quality, cost, and delivery timelines, while anticipating risks.
  • Collaborate with industrial teams to develop and animate the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), ensuring balance between demand and capacity.
  • Lead performance reviews and maintain regular communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business with a specialization in Procurement/Supply Chain or an Engineering degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial setting, with managerial and cross-functional exposure.

Skills

Proficiency in French and English at a professional level. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with supply chain ERP systems, ideally SAP. Expertise in procurement and inventory management, particularly in an industrial or spare parts context. Ability to analyze and anticipate demand, and manage purchase orders optimizing costs, lead times, and stock levels. Proficiency in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and understanding of demand/capacity challenges. Experience in supplier performance management and supply chain KPI tracking. Capability to lead performance reviews and management rituals. Client and results-oriented with decision-making ability in constrained environments. Strong analytical, synthesis, and anticipation skills with a pragmatic and structured approach.

Experience

A minimum of 8 years in a similar role within an industrial environment, with managerial and cross-functional exposure.

Education

Master's degree in Business with a specialization in Procurement/Supply Chain or an Engineering degree.
