Louis Vuitton six-month supply chain internship in Cergy for procurement of leather goods components.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Pilot and maintain the new supply chain strategy for Client Care Services leather goods components, tracking the consolidation from 70+ suppliers to 3 strategic partners
  • Conduct analyses of the current leather goods component portfolio and identify families of components for transfer across new supply partners
  • Propose optimal suppliers based on Client Care Services operational constraints and partners' industrial capacity
  • Monitor the transfer implementation timeline between legacy and new suppliers, adapting schedules to capacity constraints
  • Track and oversee transfer orders to guarantee service continuity, controlled inventory levels, and zero impact to customer experience
  • Monitor and improve transfer and performance tracking indicators
  • Prepare and lead performance review meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure balance between available resources and production needs for spare parts manufacturing and design
  • Collaborate with local teams to develop innovative forecasting methods for spare parts without historical data, utilizing internal AI tools

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or completing an engineering school or business school program with specialization in Supply Chain
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Power BI
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
