Louis Vuitton — Paris: Apprenticeship Procurement & New‑Product Assistant (Exotic Leather) to join the Purchases team in Paris.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Exotics Purchasing team within Operations: ensure integrity and reliability of procurement data for new product projects.
- Perform codification, supplier assignment and entry of pricing into the dedicated information systems, and integrate purchasing and logistics data.
- Design, implement and maintain the weekly 'Newness' reporting dashboard; coordinate weekly performance actions across the team.
- Centralise and manage product development schedules; monitor project timelines, capacity/load and escalate alerts when required.
- Animate supplier relationships for data follow‑up and compilation; ensure dissemination and optimisation of existing tracking tools.
- Manage placement sheet availability with suppliers and handle project‑specific purchases for defined women’s product activations.
- Contribute to strategic topics: conduct a Business Continuity Plan study for the permanent range and plan the replacement of goat linings with calf‑leather linings.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a business school, engineering school or an equivalent higher‑education programme (apprenticeship track).
- Fluent English required; Italian is a plus.
- Excellent mastery of Excel VBA and Power BI.
- Strong analytical curiosity, adaptability and effective interpersonal skills.
- First experience in raw‑material purchasing or within an industrial/manufacturing environment is desirable.
