Continuous Improvement Specialist at Louis Vuitton Carinaro (Napoli). Lead manufacturing optimization and Lean initiatives in luxury footwear production.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct production time studies, define lead times and manufacturing cycles using specialized tools and methodologies
- Support the planning department in resource allocation and balancing across production units
- Map current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and establish best practices aligned with Lean and Kaizen principles
- Implement and maintain data collection and analysis systems for continuous performance monitoring and optimization
Qualifications
- Engineering degree, preferably with industrial specialization
- Minimum 2–3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in footwear or luxury/fashion sectors
- Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies including Kaizen, Lean tools (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Total Productive Maintenance)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing analysis software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of manufacturing experience in a production environment, with preferential consideration given to candidates with background in footwear, fashion, or luxury goods sectors.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ideally with an industrial or manufacturing focus.
Workplace
This position is based in Carinaro, Campania, Italy, within easy reach of Naples.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 30,000 per annum.
