Louis Vuitton internship in Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule: Planning & Scheduling Coordinator (intern), 6-month supply chain placement starting Sept 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and scheduling team to strengthen operational and digital planning processes across the leather goods atelier.
  • Perform planning activities to identify and implement improvement solutions (manage product variations, detect over-planning, ensure supply coherence, monitor new-product introductions).
  • Execute ordonnancement tasks: detect engagement variations, investigate quantity anomalies, verify reliability and coherence with supply plans.
  • Contribute to project work to restructure atelier flows and processes, including drafting methodological sheets for degraded scheduling modes.
  • Work on line-feeding systems and ‘boucle pieds de ligne’ to optimise the supply of assembly lines.
  • Help design decoupling stock strategies to increase agility for new product launches.
  • Analyse planning coherence to reduce material waste during product stoppages and propose corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, procurement) and report to the Planning/Ordonnancement Manager.

Qualifications

  • Master’s level education (Bac+4/5) — engineering or business school or university with a specialization in supply chain or logistics.
  • Autonomous, initiative-taking and methodical with a pragmatic service-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated interest in shop-floor operations; field experience in a manufacturing or atelier environment preferred.
  • Prior logistics experience desirable (internship, apprenticeship or academic project).
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills and VBA proficiency; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Commitment to environmental and sustainability objectives.
