Louis Vuitton People Operations Manager — London: lead payroll, HRIS, C&B and mobility across the UKISA region for a luxury retail maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end payroll for the UKISA region (c.700 employees across 17 stores and three countries), ensuring accuracy, timeliness and statutory compliance.
- Manage relationships with external payroll providers and coordinate with Finance and Retail Performance on compensation and benefits matters.
- Lead HR controlling, budgeting and reporting: develop and maintain HR metrics, dashboards and analytics to inform strategic decisions and monitor FTE and payroll budgets.
- Act as key user and administrator of HRIS: ensure data integrity, support implementations/upgrades, and deliver training to HR, managers and employees.
- Design, implement and administer competitive compensation and benefits programmes, including market benchmarking, annual salary reviews and variable pay schemes (bonuses/commissions).
- Coordinate international mobility and immigration processes (visas, work permits), acting as the primary point of contact for employees and external counsel.
- Manage complex employee relations cases in coordination with legal and Health & Security partners, supporting investigations and recommending consistent, compliant outcomes.
- Line-manage one direct report and provide operational leadership, ensuring high standards of service delivery across the HR operations team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' progressive experience in payroll management, HR operations or compensation & benefits within retail, hospitality or other fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrable knowledge of UK and regional employment law relevant to UKISA jurisdictions and strong grasp of HR best practices.
- Proven capability in HR data analysis and reporting, with experience building and maintaining HR dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with payroll administration and HRIS administration; experience participating in system implementations or upgrades.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills; ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline; professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD) desirable.
