Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Expert – Louis Vuitton, London. Lead multi-country payroll operations and HR compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute accurate multi-country payroll processing while maintaining compliance with local statutory requirements, tax regulations, social contributions, and LVMH guidelines
- Manage payroll calendars, journals, and statutory local payments across international jurisdictions
- Act as primary contact for payroll inquiries from employees, tax authorities, and governmental agencies
- Monitor legislative changes and ensure continuous compliance with evolving payroll regulations
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and manage relationships with external payroll providers, including performance evaluations
- Oversee year-end reconciliation procedures and system controls
- Ensure data integrity, security, and accuracy of all payroll and HR records in compliance with GDPR
- Administer end-to-end payroll processes for employee starters, leavers, and absence management
- Drive digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives in payroll and administrative processes
- Coordinate with HRBPs and benefit providers to manage contracts, renewals, and compliance
- Benchmark local benefits packages for market competitiveness and maintain updated benefits databases
- Provide guidance to employees on benefits eligibility, options, and entitlements
- Support annual performance reviews and salary increase cycles in collaboration with HR leadership
- Assist with offer preparation and international relocation processes
- Generate monthly and annual HR reports covering headcount, turnover, recruitment, and mobility metrics
- Provide data for annual social reporting and compliance filings
- Maintain HR tracking systems for various absence types and employee records
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in payroll management and HR administration within complex, multi-country environments
- Proven expertise in payroll compliance, statutory reporting, and audit procedures
- Demonstrable experience coordinating with external payroll providers and cross-functional stakeholders (HR, Finance, Legal)
- Advanced proficiency in multi-country payroll processing and statutory compliance frameworks
- Strong technical competency with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and data validation methodologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end starters, leavers, and absence administration processes
- Expertise in benefits management including healthcare, pension, insurance, and mobility support
- Demonstrated ability in payroll reporting, analytics, and statutory filings
- Mastery of payroll calendars, cut-offs, and validation cycles
- Experience with compensation benchmarking and market analysis
- Proficiency in payroll controls, segregation of duties, and audit readiness protocols
- Excellent vendor, provider, and HRBP coordination capabilities
