Louis Vuitton Operations Manager, London – lead store operations, stock management and team development in luxury retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop the stock team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Manage product flow from delivery through to shop floor, optimising replenishment processes and stock rotation
- Develop and implement initiatives to reduce stock loss and improve inventory accuracy
- Set and track stock KPIs, reviewing performance monthly with the Store Director
- Ensure comprehensive security protocols are in place for staff, clients, and merchandise; coordinate security training and theft-prevention measures
- Partner with Store Director and Logistics Manager to identify operational inefficiencies and implement continuous improvements
- Support health and safety compliance and facilities maintenance, liaising with external suppliers and Harrods facilities departments
- Translate company vision and business objectives to the team, ensuring alignment and understanding of individual contributions
- Identify talent within the team, develop succession plans, and provide consistent coaching and development opportunities
- Oversee shop-soiled and defective merchandise procedures in partnership with sales management
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of operations management experience in luxury retail or premium department stores
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and stock control procedures
- Demonstrated experience in loss prevention and security risk management
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

Minimum 10 years of operations management experience in luxury retail, premium department store, or high-end fashion environments, with demonstrated expertise in stock management, team leadership, and process optimisation.
Education
Secondary education; additional qualifications in business management, retail operations, or supply chain management preferred.
