Operations Manager at Louis Vuitton, Kowloon. Lead retail operations, inventory management, and team development in luxury fashion retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage inventory operations including stock organization, cycle counts, reconciliation, and adjustments to maintain accurate levels across front and back of house areas
- Oversee store facility maintenance including housekeeping, utilities, fixtures, decor, and exterior appearance; manage vendor relationships and coordinate renovations
- Ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures; recommend and implement process improvements
- Lead client delivery operations including merchandise preparation, packaging, communication updates, and escalation management
- Recruit, develop, and mentor store teams; establish individual development plans and succession strategies in collaboration with the Store Manager
- Establish team and individual performance goals; conduct regular coaching and assessments against expectations
- Train teams on operational procedures, retail systems, and communication protocols
- Maintain all required permits, safety certificates, and inspection documentation; ensure security and safety compliance
- Manage technology systems and partner with IT to troubleshoot operational issues
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of luxury retail operations experience
- Strong understanding of luxury retail market dynamics and contemporary trends
- Demonstrated passion for luxury, fashion, and lifestyle sectors, with knowledge of Louis Vuitton brand heritage
- Client-focused mindset with high standards for quality and excellence
- Proven coaching and team management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
- Creative problem-solving abilities with willingness to propose innovative ideas
- Collaborative team player with strong empathy and interpersonal skills
