Operations Manager at Louis Vuitton Dubai Mall – lead stock, inventory, and retail operations. Full-time permanent role, 10+ years required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the stock team, modeling the Louis Vuitton Attitudes and supporting delivery of the Louis Vuitton Promise
- Identify talent, recruit high-performing candidates, and build succession plans in collaboration with senior management
- Set and track individual and team performance goals; conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Create a positive, harmonious work environment that fosters cooperation between team members and management across departments
- Translate company vision, strategic goals, and business information to the team, clarifying their individual and collective contributions
- Manage product flow from delivery to shop floor, ensuring efficient replenishment processes and minimizing handling delays
- Optimize warehouse and stock control procedures including rotative inventory counts, geographic location management, and delivery coordination
- Develop and execute initiatives to improve stock accuracy and reduce loss, tracking KPIs monthly with the Store Director
- Partner with sales management to enforce shop-soiled and defective procedures and maintain data accuracy in the store stock system
- Foster collaborative relationships between stock and sales teams to enhance operational efficiency
- Liaise with regional Logistics and Supply Chain teams to identify improvement opportunities and resolve operational bottlenecks
- Ensure security protocols minimize risks to staff, clients, merchandise, and facilities; manage incident reporting and investigations
- Coordinate security training across the team to raise awareness and reduce theft and loss
- Work with regional Operations leadership to assess security vulnerabilities and develop corrective action plans
- Oversee maintenance scheduling, minor works, and IT&T support; deputize for store management on vendor management matters
- Manage supplier relationships, coordinate contractor access, and administer purchase orders in collaboration with the regional Operations team
- Support store management with monthly and daily roster planning, ensuring appropriate team scheduling
- Contribute to new store openings, expansions, and renovation projects, ensuring smooth operational transitions
- Advise store leadership on operational improvements, new working practices, and process optimization opportunities
- Support HR and management with performance management investigations and disciplinary matters as required
- Ensure all team members have appropriate uniforms and personal protective equipment for their roles
- Develop strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of operations management experience in luxury retail or hospitality environments
- Proven track record leading and developing teams in multi-department or multi-concession settings
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, stock control, and loss prevention
- Strong knowledge of retail operations systems and KPI management
- Experience with security risk assessment and incident management
- Proficiency in facilities management and vendor coordination
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and recommend improvements
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of operations management experience in luxury retail, preferably in a multi-brand or multi-department context. Demonstrated success in leading teams, optimizing product flow, reducing loss, and driving operational excellence.
Education
Secondary education required; tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related discipline preferred.
