Louis Vuitton Operations Manager in Austin, TX — Lead boutique operations, team development and operational excellence for the Fashion & Leather Goods maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the store operations team to deliver the Louis Vuitton client promise and model the brand’s four core attitudes.
- Recruit, develop and retain top talent; establish succession plans in close partnership with the Store Manager and regional HR partners.
- Set individual and team objectives; monitor performance and implement development plans to close gaps.
- Manage the store’s controllable expenses and operational budget to meet financial targets.
- Ensure strict compliance with cash-handling and credit-card policies and oversee payroll processing according to company procedures.
- Implement and maintain training on operational procedures, retail systems and communication platforms.
- Oversee inventory control and organisation of front-of-house and back-of-house stock to maximise efficiency and loss-prevention.
- Collaborate with Client Care to achieve aftersales KPIs and ensure exceptional client service continuity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in retail operations or boutique management, preferably within luxury fashion or leather goods.
- Proven experience recruiting, coaching and developing retail teams with demonstrated success in succession planning.
- Demonstrable financial acumen with experience managing budgets and controllable expenses.
- Strong operational discipline in cash handling, payroll processing and inventory control.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner cross-functionally (Client Care, HR, finance).
Skills
Experience
Minimum five years of experience in retail operations or boutique management, with a track record of leading teams, managing budgets and owning day-to-day operational disciplines in a consumer-facing luxury environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, retail management, hospitality or a related field preferred; professional qualifications or demonstrable on-the-job progression in luxury retail are accepted.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 95,000 per annum.
