Louis Vuitton seeks an Operations Manager in Austin, USA to lead store operations, team development, inventory and budget management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure the team delivers the Louis Vuitton Promise and models the brand’s core attitudes in every client interaction.
- Lead, coach and develop store teams; identify training needs and collaborate with regional partners to implement tailored development and succession plans.
- Identify, recruit and retain talent in partnership with the Store Manager; implement succession planning and career-pathing.
- Set individual and team objectives, monitor performance, and manage corrective actions to achieve operational and commercial targets.
- Manage the store’s annual controllable expenses budget and support commercial planning to optimize profitability.
- Administer and enforce cash-handling and credit card policies and procedures to protect revenue and compliance.
- Process payroll in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Oversee training on operational procedures, retail systems and communications tools to ensure consistent execution.
- Manage inventory operations — front-of-house and back-of-house — maintaining secure, organized and efficient stock flows.
- Partner with Client Care and aftersales teams to achieve post-sale KPIs and ensure a seamless client journey.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in retail operations, including people leadership (store or multi-unit experience preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in inventory control, cash procedures and payroll operations.
- Proven ability to recruit, coach and develop high-performing luxury retail teams and implement succession plans.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and controlling expenses.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first orientation.
- Ability to work on-site with flexible retail hours as required.

Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive retail operations experience with demonstrated people management responsibility; previous experience in luxury fashion or premium retail environments preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management or a related field preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 95,000 per annum.
