Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and drive day-to-day operational performance of inventory flows, accuracy and optimisation across the store.
- Coach and develop store teams through hands-on training to ensure consistent execution of inventory processes and operational standards.
- Support Store Manager and Operations Manager by providing operational leadership, problem-solving and process improvement proposals.
- Create and manage inventory schedules in partnership with the Regional Inventory Operations Manager and ensure timely completion of cycle counts.
- Ensure bin management, transaction processing and reconciliation are executed in accordance with company policy; investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on missing inventory (IP shrink), manage bucket assignments, movements, adjustments and research open POs.
- Use advanced Excel and other computer tools to analyse inventory metrics, produce reports and track performance against KPIs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in retail operations with prior management responsibility; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable expertise in inventory control processes, cycle counts, reconciliation and high-volume stock environments.
- Proven people management and development skills with the ability to coach teams and drive operational excellence.
- Strong organisational and administrative capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel capabilities and confident use of retail IT systems for reporting and analysis.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience in retail operations with management responsibility; experience in inventory management, cycle counts, discrepancy investigation and team leadership in a fast-paced, high-volume environment—luxury retail preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, supply chain or related field preferred.
