Louis Vuitton — Asnières‑sur‑Seine: Methods and Continuous Improvement Intern (6‑month internship) to support production optimisation at Les Ateliers Louis Vuitton.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Propose and implement improvement actions on existing and new production lines: analyse current processes, simplify and optimise operating methods, reorganise line layouts, and reduce inventories and work‑in‑progress.
  • Lead field projects to raise productivity, quality, safety and ergonomics using Lean methodologies (risk analysis, problem solving, 5S, PDCA, DMAIC): quantify potential gains, plan resources, manage schedules and coordinate production, prototyping and maintenance stakeholders.
  • Monitor and follow up improvement actions to ensure sustained performance gains and adherence to deadlines and targets.
  • Contribute to industrialisation of new products: design optimal operation sequences (gamme opératoire), estimate operative times, define and oversee outsourced tooling, and support production ramp‑up.
  • Develop and deliver operator training, disseminate best practices and promote ergonomic and quality improvements on the shop floor.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering school, business school or equivalent degree programme.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Practical knowledge of Excel; familiarity with Power BI recommended.
  • Curious, agile and strong interpersonal skills; able to work on the shop floor and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated interest in environmental sustainability and continuous improvement.
