Louis Vuitton — Methods and Continuous Improvement Engineer internship in Asnières‑sur‑Seine, France (June 2026, 6 months).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Report to the Methods and Continuous Improvement Manager and drive operational improvement initiatives across the Asnières atelier.
  • Propose and implement improvements on existing and new production lines: perform critical analyses of the current state, simplify and optimise work instructions, and organise line re‑layouts.
  • Reduce inventory and work-in-progress while improving product quality and workstation ergonomics.
  • Design and deliver operator training to support change and disseminate best practices; monitor action plans and sustain improvements over time.
  • Lead on-site Lean projects (analyse de risques, résolution de problèmes, 5S, PDCA, DMAIC) to raise productivity, quality, safety and ergonomics: quantify expected gains, plan resources, manage schedules and coordinate production, prototyping and maintenance stakeholders.
  • Participate in industrialisation of new products: define the optimal operation sequence (gamme opératoire), estimate operation times, specify and oversee outsourced tooling, and support production ramp-up.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a business school, engineering school or equivalent academic programme.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Familiarity with Excel and/or Power BI recommended.
  • Strong curiosity, adaptability and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to environmental objectives and sustainable practices.
