Merchandising Manager – Women's Universe at Louis Vuitton in Dubai. Lead merchandising strategy for multiple luxury product categories across the Middle East region.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Build seasonal assortment for multiple categories, balancing commerciality, brand image, and store-level nuances across the Middle East region
  • Represent the Middle East market at Paris showrooms and buying sessions, defending regional needs and market specificities
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and client feedback to inform assortment and pricing decisions
  • Analyze weekly sales, sell-through, and stock data to identify risks and opportunities, initiating corrective actions to drive retail performance
  • Own allocation strategy across all doors, ensuring optimal product placement at each store location
  • Partner with retail leadership and Store Managers to gather qualitative feedback and align on product priorities
  • Collaborate with Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Communication teams to ensure coordinated execution of launches, events, and commercial calendar initiatives
  • Act as the voice of the Middle East region with Zone Merchandising teams, ensuring local market specificities are reflected in global strategy
  • Work with Learning and Development teams to enhance retail team capabilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture
  • Deliver product and category training to store teams, building compelling brand narratives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive merchandising experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within luxury retail
  • Demonstrated experience in the Middle Eastern market preferred
  • Strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior and market dynamics in the region
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful merchandising strategies that drive sales and profitability
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and make informed commercial decisions
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal capabilities

Experience
