Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining merchandising reports and presentations to analyze sales trends and inform business strategies.
  • Conduct competitive analysis of the regional Women's Ready-to-Wear market.
  • Support collection launches by creating product knowledge tools, collecting feedback, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in team meetings, product trainings, and store visits.
  • Manage routine deliverables and ad-hoc requests, demonstrating strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Oversee sample closet management and tracking.
  • Support team with seasonal buy preparation and showroom needs.
  • Engage with the LVA Women's Ready-to-Wear community chatline for retail support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Visual Merchandising, Retail Learning, Supply Chain, and Client Relations.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in a related field.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Able and willing to work at the assigned location or relocate to New York City.

Skills

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented and proactive with strong time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Experience

Relevant coursework or internship experience within merchandising is preferred. Familiarity with and passion for the luxury fashion industry is highly encouraged.

Education

Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in a related field.
