Louis Vuitton — Merchandising Business Analyst (Alternance), Women's Ready-to-Wear, Paris 1er. Apprenticeship starts July/Sept 2026; 1–2 year contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform weekly sales and performance analyses for Women's Ready-to-Wear by season, collection and product family; identify trends and opportunities.
- Lead weekly business update meetings with regional markets and central teams, synthesize action plans and monitor execution.
- Track and report on implemented initiatives (best practices, rebalancing, transfers) and quantify sales impacts.
- Implement in-season commercial actions to maximise sell-through and revenue: stock optimisation (reallocation, rebalancing, transfers) and VM push activities.
- Collect and consolidate market feedback on new launches and translate inputs into requirements for new developments.
- Prepare semi-annual business reviews, monthly analyses and ad hoc business deep-dives.
- Prepare materials for buying sessions: collection framing, showroom merchandising book, sales‑enablement tools, purchase strategy presentations, buying-tool setup and purchase tracking files.
- Support assortment core selection and clustering strategy; assist zones during showroom exercises including VM racking and showroom reviews.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a business school, engineering school or equivalent university programme (apprenticeship/alternance eligible).
- Strong affinity for fashion and the luxury universe, with curiosity for product and market dynamics.
- Highly analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI is strongly preferred.
- Strong organisational rigour, proactivity and reliable follow-through on projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across international teams and regions.
- Fluent written and spoken English (required) to work in an international environment.
