Role & Responsibilities
- Own and monitor sales performance for the Men’s Shoes category, analysing daily and weekly results and initiating in-season strategies to exceed sales and sell-through targets.
- Support collection launches by developing retail and merchandising tools, collecting store feedback and curating visual display imagery for rollout.
- Produce comprehensive assortment feedback and competitive analyses, integrating market demand, trend, pricing and promotional intelligence.
- Maintain routine and ad hoc reporting; adapt analyses and presentations to evolving business needs and stakeholder requests.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain on stock adjustments, zone transfers and inventory retrievals to ensure optimal availability for peak periods, events and new openings.
- Provide event support including stock rebalances, assortment construction, sales tracking and on-site or remote operational assistance.
- Participate in Paris buying sessions by placing orders, recommending sizing, organising visuals and preparing post-session summaries.
- Deliver administrative and cross‑functional support (meeting coordination, sample management) and act as the primary commerce contact for the Men’s Shoes merchandising community in the Americas.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of merchandising or analytical retail experience, preferably within luxury footwear or men’s apparel.
- Demonstrable proficiency with retail math, inventory planning and sell-through optimisation.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to be on-site four days per week at the Manhattan corporate office and to participate in periodic buying sessions in Paris.
