Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising plans in collaboration with Louis Vuitton Manufacturing counterparts to meet sales targets and maximize profitability
  • Drive sales performance by monitoring sales turnover metrics, conducting regular store visits, and gathering insights from retail staff on customer satisfaction and preferences
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative product performance feedback to Paris headquarters to influence product development aligned with Japanese market demand
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to monitor pricing trends and product line-up positioning within the market
  • Coordinate new product launches by organizing pre-launch training for sales staff, disseminating product information across relevant divisions, and preparing supporting materials in collaboration with internal departments
  • Oversee inventory control by managing stock levels per store and facilitating transfers between locations to optimize distribution
  • Lead annual HARDSIDED and HOME LIFESTYLE events by coordinating planning, execution, and follow-up activities across retail, visual merchandising, public relations, and supply chain teams

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional merchandising experience
  • Proficiency in English with TOEIC score of 800 or higher
  • Fluency in Japanese
  • Advanced Excel proficiency including VLOOKUP and SUMIF functions
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Power BI, and Microsoft Word
  • Strong analytical capabilities with ability to perform effectively under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
