Merchandising & Client Development Intern at Louis Vuitton, Singapore — 6-month internship supporting retail operations and client engagement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily business operations across product categories, including preparing reports and monitoring sales performance metrics
- Analyze sales data using Excel, NEMO, and Power BI to identify market trends, risks, and commercial opportunities
- Collaborate with retail stores to drive sales targets and optimize inventory distribution in partnership with Supply Chain teams
- Provide qualitative feedback on new product launches and evaluate in-store performance outcomes
- Assist in market analysis and development of localized product strategies aligned with regional priorities
- Act as liaison between local stores and regional teams to ensure alignment on key business priorities
- Support merchandising initiatives including product training programs, visual merchandising alignment, and new store opening operations
- Participate in retail activations including styling sessions, trunk shows, and exclusive client events
- Support planning and execution of client events, including vendor sourcing, logistics coordination, and on-site operational management
- Assist in preparing event documentation, performance reports, and post-event analysis for continuous improvement
- Coordinate with stores and logistics teams to manage deliveries and shipments for events and activations
- Support gift management processes including order consolidation, inventory tracking, and timely client distribution
- Assist in managing Virtual Bridge requests to facilitate local and international client appointments and experiences
- Contribute to execution of client initiatives such as in-store animations, VIC events, and personalized client experiences
- Maintain and update client development trackers, calendars, and reports at country and regional levels
- Monitor competitor market activities and share strategic insights with relevant stakeholders
- Provide administrative support including schedule management, store inquiry response, and business review preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably additional languages
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Proactive mindset with adaptability to fast-paced luxury retail environments
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with familiarity of data visualization tools such as Power BI
- Availability to commit from January 1 to June 30, 2027

Beginner level; no prior professional experience required. Academic background in merchandising, business, or marketing is preferred.
