Louis Vuitton is seeking a Merchandiser for its Women’s Leathergoods team in Singapore to manage the South Asia category business, assortments, sales analysis, and cross-functional coordination. The role is permanent and full-time.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive the Women’s Leathergoods category business in South Asia, supporting the manager as category lead.
  • Create commercially balanced assortments aligned with brand strategies and aspirations, market specificities, and sales targets.
  • Identify category growth opportunities and business risks; deliver reliable sales analysis and actionable insights.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and sell-through reports; initiate ad hoc analysis and provide deep-dive and qualitative feedback to Zone and Central teams.
  • Attend four buying sessions each year and manage assortments in season, re-assorting stores based on performance, opportunities, and activations.
  • Partner with other categories on 360 Transversal Launches and contribute to training and collection launch preparation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Retail, Learning & Development, Digital, Visual Merchandising, Communications, and Client Development, to achieve 360 category objectives.
  • Partner with Country Merchandisers and Retail Teams to drive sales and understand market needs; act as the bridge between South Asia countries and stores and the Paris team.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure the right stock reaches the right stores in the right quantities; collaborate on in-season sales forecasts and buying sessions, and share category strategies for aligned stock management.
  • Maintain close communication with stores to understand product and client feedback and identify opportunities; equip Retail Teams with tools and information to achieve sales targets, and support special events and activations.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor strategies, share market feedback and product needs with Central for collection creation, and apply market analysis insights to category action plans.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional partners, and represent the zone category in partnership with Central Teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Fashion background preferred; luxury experience is an asset.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and a commercial mindset.
  • Ability to derive meaningful insights from analysis, communicate findings clearly, and initiate action.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Results-driven, with a genuine passion for the product category.
  • Highly adaptable and agile, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Organized, structured, and action-oriented.
  • Genuine curiosity, proactiveness, and a team-player approach in a fast-paced environment.
