Louis Vuitton seeks EMEA Merchandiser, Men's Universe in Paris. Drive regional product strategy and commercial performance. Full-time, hybrid role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor sales performance to identify optimization opportunities and drive short-term commercial improvements
- Share key messages and priorities with markets, challenge performance on sales and stock levels, and coordinate action plans at zone level when required
- Incorporate retail strategy, store potential, and client profiles into strategic business planning
- Contribute to annual sales budget and open-to-buy (OTB) planning in coordination with Business Planning and Sales Planning teams
- Monitor time-to-market with Supply Chain teams, including launch dates, setup quantities, and implementation of required actions
- Maintain deep market knowledge and provide qualitative feedback to central merchandising on performance, opportunities, and competitive environment
- Prepare merchandising briefs for central design teams ahead of seasonal launches
- Recommend selection of new launches and key products based on detailed analysis of market trends and client needs
- Manage product assortments by market cluster on a quarterly basis to ensure complete commercial offering
- Participate in buying sessions and adapt assortment decisions to zone strategy
- Animate product training sessions and promote category awareness across countries and stores
- Visit stores and markets to gather insights, understand competitive positioning, and identify local trends
- Ensure coordination with all support functions across the region
Qualifications
- Graduate of a higher education program such as a business school or equivalent Master's degree (Bac+5)
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in buying or regional merchandising
- Strong product expertise, preferably acquired within the fashion or luxury sector
- Team player with strong initiative and demonstrated passion for fashion, market trends, and competitive intelligence
- Results-oriented and client-centric mindset with ability to collaborate across diverse teams, departments, and cultures
- Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in data interpretation for strategic decision-making
- Fluent in English and French
- Retail experience is advantageous
