The Menswear Retail Merchandiser leads the implementation of Louis Vuitton’s menswear product strategy across France and Monaco, optimizing store assortments and network performance. The role works closely with stores and support functions on collection go-to-market, product training, client activations and showroom activities. Permanent, full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze sales to identify opportunities and guide commercial priorities.
- Optimize each store’s product assortment according to its commercial potential and customer profile.
- Define and track key KPIs, and share priorities and action plans with the retail network.
- Monitor market performance, opportunities and competitor benchmarks, and report findings to the regional merchandising team.
- Serve as the primary contact for the retail network on the assigned collections.
- Visit stores regularly to gather on-the-ground needs and monitor local and competitive trends.
- Provide product support to the retail network and escalate specific needs to the region.
- Deliver training on new collections and priority focuses.
- Lead collection go-to-market in collaboration with Clienteling, Visual Merchandising, Operations, Supply Chain and Learning teams.
- Support client events, store openings and pop-in/pop-up activations.
- Participate in Resee appointments, collecting client feedback and monitoring orders.
- Attend regional product presentations to guide distribution and selection based on the region’s commercial potential.
- Engage experts and stylists around the collections and gather their feedback.
Qualifications
- Bac+4/5 degree in business, marketing/distribution or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience in merchandising, category management or product management, ideally in luxury or fashion.
- Good command of Pack Office.
- Fluent French and English.
- Analytical mindset, rigor, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to unite a retail network.
