Louis Vuitton is seeking a Men's Leather Goods Assistant Designer intern to support men's collection and runway development through visual research, technical drawings, bag visualizations, and prototyping. This is a full-time internship with a hybrid working mode.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of men's collections and runway projects.
- Create bag simulations and visualizations using Photoshop.
- Conduct visual research and create moodboards for collection and show concepts.
- Produce precise technical drawings for production.
- Assist with studio organization and management.
- Make simple prototypes and assemble paper mock-ups.
- Contribute actively in line with individual skills and strengths.
Qualifications
- Ideal experience in leather goods or luxury accessories; candidates from ready-to-wear, footwear, or eyewear are also welcome.
- Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop is essential; 3D and AI are a plus.
- Sensitivity to and precision in physical details, down to 0.5 mm.
- Ability to listen and sensitivity to the needs of the studio and designers.
- Graphic design and typography skills are appreciated.
- Strong motivation and willingness to learn, help, and progress in a demanding environment.
- An artistic, conceptual, and technical profile.
- Submit a CV and portfolio demonstrating the ability to develop and realize a product.
- The portfolio must show the product development cycle, from initial concept through final realization, and technical expertise, including manufacturing feasibility and technical drawings.
