Louis Vuitton is seeking a Men’s Footwear Product Development Assistant intern in its Product Department, supporting collection development, showroom preparation, product communications and prototype management while coordinating with industrial, design, press and marketing teams. This is a full-time internship in Paris, starting January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in and track collections in coordination with the Product Manager.
- Help organise collection presentation sessions.
- Map the different collections.
- Conduct ad hoc studies and update competitor research, including competitive monitoring and product positioning and pricing.
- Create showroom sales-support materials for the Zones, including the Showroom Book, Materials Book and Modélarios.
- Help set up the showroom.
- Prepare briefs for various photo shoots, including campaigns, Métiers, category and product-focus shoots.
- Lead packshot, e-commerce and product-video shoots for the category.
- Follow up on post-production, including photo retouching.
- Compile set orders for the Press.
- Manage the prototype stock on a day-to-day basis.
- Manage loans for the Press, campaigns and Studio.
- Coordinate closely with industrial, design, press and other marketing teams.
Qualifications
- Currently studying at a business school, fashion school or university Master’s programme.
- Seeking a gap-year or final-year internship.
- Strong interest in fashion and luxury, and a genuine desire to discover the footwear category.
- Strong fashion knowledge.
- Rigorous, personable and collaborative.
- Creative, versatile and comfortable coordinating different assignments and supporting teams throughout the development process.
- Fluent English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
