Louis Vuitton Media Manager in New York, USA: manage Americas media campaigns across print, digital, and OOH. $120–$130K + bonus.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and adapt seasonal media plans by channel, ensuring alignment with global strategy, local business needs, and brand guidelines
  • Partner with agency teams to build and refine media plans incorporating market-specific opportunities and nuances
  • Optimize partner, tactic, and channel mix to maximize campaign impact according to established KPIs
  • Manage media budgets effectively across multiple countries and channels in alignment with internal finance team
  • Coordinate with Social Media Manager to ensure consistency across all paid channels
  • Maintain strong knowledge of print media landscape and current industry trends; negotiate positioning packages with print vendors and publishers
  • Direct media planning efforts across Canada, Brazil, Mexico, and Latin America/Caribbean; make timely decisions on plan changes and approve production and trafficking
  • Manage weekly New York Times Sunday Styles section scheduling, including media confirmation and final creative approval
  • Coordinate monthly media plan sign-offs to ensure timely booking of all placements
  • Negotiate positions, rates, and maintain media plans for leased department store participation in seasonal catalogues
  • Oversee monthly outdoor media planning for billboards and digital units; ensure timely trafficking of video and creative with correct specifications
  • Assess new outdoor opportunities in key markets and stay current with emerging industry innovation
  • Oversee production, shipping, and installation for all OOH billboard creative changeouts
  • Work with various digital partners to generate media plans meeting campaign objectives
  • Negotiate digital media opportunities with attention to detail from inception through execution
  • Monitor campaigns, optimize performance, and produce reporting to achieve optimal results
  • Coordinate approvals, logistics, and production for timely digital campaign launches
  • Analyze post-campaign performance to identify best practices for future initiatives
  • Coordinate with media agencies on TV and Connected TV plans and buys as needed
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all media agencies and vendors

Qualifications

  • 6–7 years of media planning and buying experience on brand or agency side; luxury experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of media production processes
  • Proven strong budget management capabilities
  • Professional presentation skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work agilely, pivot as needed, and manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships with external partners
