Louis Vuitton Geneva seeks Master Polisher to lead polishing workshop, oversee team development, and execute finishing of luxury watch components.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage production scheduling and task allocation for the polishing workshop, prioritizing workload according to team capabilities and project timelines
  • Direct new project launches and communicate technical specifications to the team to ensure seamless production ramp-up
  • Mentor and coach polishers to elevate efficiency and quality standards across their assigned work
  • Define finishing processes and coordinate with specialized departments to source and prepare required tooling
  • Execute advanced surface preparation and finishing techniques for casing components, adhering to house specifications
  • Conduct visual quality inspections and conformance checks against established quality criteria
  • Collaborate with adjacent workshops to manage polishing of limited-run and unique casing productions
  • Demonstrate autonomy and adaptability when executing bespoke and exceptional projects
  • Identify non-conformities proactively and develop collaborative solutions in partnership with the team and direct manager
  • Enforce workplace safety protocols and oversee proper use of personal protective equipment, machinery, and ventilation systems
