Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Marketing and Editions teams in the promotion and commercial rollout of new titles and seasonal launches.
- Draft promotional documents and sales tools (argument sheets, collection catalogues, modelarios, training materials for sales teams).
- Manage editorial follow-up for press dossiers: proofreading, basic page layout, coordinating translations and tracking project deadlines with the press office.
- Supervise production of visual assets and packshots in coordination with creative/production teams.
- Communicate publishing schedules and copy edits to digital and e‑merchandising teams and review copy for online platforms.
- Prepare and maintain department presentations and reports: monthly sales reporting, annual review, launch plans, event calendars and partnership reporting.
- Animate and support bookseller networks (LV stores, third‑party retailers, Apple Store, independent bookstores) including merchandising and sales team training.
- Provide operational support for promotional activities and events (signings, launches): logistics, contributor shipments, stock reception and internal ordering.
- Assist with research and selection of iconography for editorial and promotional materials.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bac+4 level (four years post‑secondary) in Marketing, Publishing/Book Trade or a closely related discipline.
- Previous internships in bookstores, publishing houses or cultural organisations strongly preferred.
- Excellent written French; professional level English required.
- Strong editorial skills: copywriting, proofreading and sensitivity to layout.
- Rigour, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence when interacting with retail, press and external partners.

Early‑career candidates; prior internships in bookstores, publishing, cultural institutions or related marketing roles are expected. The position is suitable for a candidate transitioning from academic study to professional practice.
Education
