Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing and commercial launch of new titles: prepare promotional documents (product briefs, collection catalogues, modelarios, and sales training tools).
  • Manage editorial follow‑up for press materials: proofreading, layout checks, translations and project tracking in coordination with the press office.
  • Coordinate production of visuals and packshots with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Communicate publication schedules and copy to digital and e‑merchandising teams and review website copy.
  • Prepare and maintain departmental presentations and reports: monthly sales reporting, annual reviews, launch plans, event calendars and partnership reporting.
  • Animate and support the retailer network (Louis Vuitton stores, Apple Store, independent booksellers): merchandising and sales training assistance.
  • Provide promotional support for events and campaigns, including emailings, digital tools and sourcing iconography.
  • Coordinate event logistics for signings and editorial events (run sheets, book orders, on‑site coordination).
  • Assist with daily operational tasks: dispatching review copies to contributors, receiving merchandise and processing internal orders.
  • Contribute to research and curation of imagery and editorial assets.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bac+4 (four years of higher education) in Marketing, Publishing, Book Trade or a closely related discipline.
  • Previous internships or professional experience in bookstores, publishing houses or cultural organisations preferred.
  • Excellent written expression and strong proofreading / copyediting abilities.
  • Graphic sensitivity and a good eye for visual presentation.
  • Rigour, attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is required; professional French proficiency is strongly advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ease in presenting to retail and distribution partners.
