Louis Vuitton Internship: Manufacturing Methods & Continuous Improvement at Asnières-sur-Seine, France. 6-month Lean manufacturing role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Propose and implement improvement actions on existing and new production lines through critical analysis of current processes, operational mode simplification, and plant layout optimization
- Reduce inventory levels and work-in-process while improving product quality and workplace ergonomics
- Identify and deliver operator training requirements to support operational changes and disseminate best practices across teams
- Lead continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean methodologies including risk analysis, problem-solving, 5S, PDCA, and DMAIC frameworks
- Quantify potential gains, allocate resources, manage project timelines, and coordinate production, engineering, and maintenance stakeholders
- Participate in new product industrialization by designing optimal operational procedures, estimating process times, and overseeing tooling execution
- Support production ramp-up and monitor implementation outcomes against defined targets and schedules
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in business school, engineering school, or equivalent program
- Fluent in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency with Excel and/or Power BI
- Demonstrated curiosity and agility with strong interpersonal skills
- Commitment to environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility

Entry-level; no prior professional experience required. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of manufacturing principles or operational improvement methodologies gained through academic coursework or internships.
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in engineering, business, industrial engineering, operations management, or equivalent field.
