Louis Vuitton seeks a management accounting intern in Sainte-Florence, France to support financial operations and reporting in our leather goods manufacturing facility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Validate product cost of goods sold (COGS) and analyze margin performance
- Participate in monthly close procedures and contribute to group-level financial reporting
- Generate key performance indicators for site operations including throughput, activity, productivity, repair costs, and material efficiency
- Identify and analyze variance sources and develop corrective action plans
- Support inventory management including coverage ratios, inventory adjustments, and variance tracking
- Ensure alignment of accounting practices with internal control requirements
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and data system consistency
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Master's-level qualification (Bac+4/5) in management accounting or equivalent financial discipline
- Demonstrable proficiency with office software and rapid adaptability to enterprise systems
- Strong analytical mindset with critical thinking applied to financial data
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups
