Role & Responsibilities

  • Support Communications teams in planning and managing operating expenses across actual and forecast scenarios
  • Participate in closing activities including order tracking, budget reconciliation, monthly provision calculations, variance analysis, and executive reporting
  • Serve as primary interface with operational divisions on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
  • Develop budgets and re-estimates in collaboration with operational and subsidiary finance teams, fostering strategic business partnerships
  • Participate in the global budgeting cycle encompassing budget setting, re-estimates, and strategic planning for both Communications-specific and cross-functional initiatives
  • Build and monitor consolidated P&L for Literary Editions activity, ensuring visibility of resources deployed across departments
  • Track departmental investments, particularly art acquisitions and other capital assets
  • Develop inventory tracking systems for Literary Editions and Global Non-Merchandising stock in coordination with Supply and subsidiary operations
  • Contribute to cross-functional financial projects aligned with Finance directorate priorities and evolving business needs, including implementation of new financial tools and process optimization

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (BAC+5) in Commerce or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of Finance experience, preferably from audit firms or management control/financial control departments
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP, BW, and/or Power BI preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles including closing procedures, expense management, investments, P&L, and balance sheet analysis
  • Demonstrable rigor, autonomy, and organizational capability

Experience

Master's degree (BAC+5) from a business school or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or business administration.
