Louis Vuitton seeks a Logistics Team Leader to supervise and optimize a 25–30-person warehouse team at its Cergy-Pontoise distribution facility. The role encompasses team management, performance optimization, operational planning, and commitment to environmental stewardship through the "Le Voyage Engagé" sustainability initiative. The successful candidate will ensure quality, on-time delivery, and occupational health and safety compliance while driving continuous improvement across logistics processes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a logistics team of 25–30 employees, establishing clear expectations, providing structured feedback, and fostering collaborative performance against shared objectives
- Set operational frameworks, performance standards, and timelines for the team both collectively and individually, ensuring clear communication of company objectives
- Relay essential company information and directives necessary for optimal team functioning
- Address social issues, behavioral concerns, and interpersonal conflicts, seeking sustainable solutions in consultation with HR
- Oversee administrative duties related to team management, including absence tracking, overtime scheduling, and personnel records
- Conduct individual performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement corrective measures when necessary
- Drive operational performance through daily briefings, shift planning, and coordination of order processing workflows
- Monitor and communicate key performance indicators across processes, timelines, inventory management, staffing levels, quality metrics, environmental compliance, occupational health, and productivity
- Maintain quality standards and on-time delivery commitments; implement temporary corrective actions to ensure continuity from receiving through shipping
- Update and maintain warehouse reporting systems and operational data tracking
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in warehouse processes, team organization, and operational efficiency
- Manage daily capacity and resource allocation forecasting for S+1 planning horizons relative to warehouse demand
- Ensure adherence to receiving and shipping protocols; champion quality awareness within the team
- Escalate quality alerts and coordinate corrective action plans with the quality assurance department
- Guarantee implementation of Louis Vuitton's environmental commitment roadmap and Cergy warehouse sustainability objectives
- Monitor environmental considerations in operational decision-making and team activities
- Serve as the primary operational control point for environmental compliance; organize and coordinate team engagement with environmental initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional logistics or warehouse operations experience
- Minimum 10 years of proven team management experience
- Baccalauréat+2 level education (BTS, DUT, or equivalent)
- Mastery of continuous improvement tools and methodologies
- Advanced proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Excel, and Power BI
- Strong results-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to influence team performance
- Flexibility to work rotating shift schedules as required

Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, with a minimum of 10 years of successful team management experience. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of optimizing operational performance, managing diverse teams, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within distribution or warehouse environments.
Education
Baccalauréat+2 level qualification (BTS, DUT, or equivalent technical diploma). Formal training in logistics management, supply chain operations, or related discipline is preferred.
