Louis Vuitton Japan seeks a Logistics Systems Specialist in Tokyo to lead WMS projects, Power BI reporting and logistics process improvements.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end technical planning, implementation and optimisation of Warehouse Management System (WMS) initiatives to streamline workflows, increase throughput and improve data accuracy.
  • Analyse operational processes to identify system‑level improvements and translate business requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with IT/IS and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and Excel reports to monitor KPIs, visualise trends and provide actionable insights for warehouse performance and strategic decision‑making.
  • Manage logistics and WMS projects across the full lifecycle—planning, execution, monitoring, change control and close‑out—ensuring delivery on time, scope and budget.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional communication with headquarters (HQ), Japan stakeholders (IT/IS, Retail, Digital, Stores) and external partners (3PLs, automation vendors) to align objectives and manage expectations.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues; facilitate training and knowledge transfer to operational teams to ensure effective adoption of new features and processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' professional experience in logistics, supply chain systems, WMS operations or related project roles.
  • Demonstrated project management capability leading technical or IT‑related initiatives, including planning, stakeholder management and risk control.
  • Intermediate to advanced data analysis and data visualisation skills; proven experience producing dashboards and reports.
  • Fluency in Japanese and business‑level English, with excellent written and verbal communication to liaise with HQ and external partners.
  • Practical proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex reporting and data manipulation.
  • Experience with WMS or logistics operations and technical problem solving is highly valued; prior exposure to process re‑engineering preferred.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted.
