Louis Vuitton seeks a Logistics Methods Engineer in Florence, Italy to lead warehouse process improvements and logistics transformation projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement and transformation projects across hub and warehouse activities, from problem definition to deployment and post‑implementation review.
- Define business needs and translate them into technical specifications in collaboration with IT and technical teams; act as the primary interface between business and IT stakeholders.
- Design, pilot and validate new logistics solutions; organize and monitor testing phases prior to roll-out.
- Define and implement end‑to‑end warehouse processes, map material flows and identify efficiency gains and requirement changes.
- Implement activity analysis and operational monitoring tools to measure performance and support data‑driven decisions.
- Support operational teams during roll‑out: deliver training, manage change and ensure process adoption by warehouse staff and team leaders.
- Monitor technological and packaging innovations in logistics, propose and deploy innovative solutions to improve throughput, quality and cost.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent specialization in supply chain, logistics or industrial engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in logistics, supply chain or project management within warehousing or distribution environments.
- Professional command of written and spoken English.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects, with strong analytical rigour and structured problem‑solving.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team orientation, autonomy and capability to anticipate and organise daily activities.

Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain or project management, with demonstrated experience leading process improvement or transformation initiatives.
Education
Engineering degree or specialization in supply chain/logistics.
