Louis Vuitton is hiring a Logistics Manager in Venice to lead site logistics and the OneManuf harmonization at the Fiesso d'Artico manufacturing facility.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all logistics activities at the Fiesso d’Artico manufacturing site as part of the global OneManuf harmonization programme.
  • Implement and monitor processes that reduce lead time and migrate operations to a shared Core Model across production sites.
  • Ensure required service levels to internal clients (primarily production departments) while complying with corporate principles, ethics and procedures.
  • Plan and sustain internal atelier replenishment; manage inventory accuracy and stock optimisation.
  • Oversee shipping quality and documentation for inbound materials and finished goods, including customs and transport paperwork where applicable.
  • Manage reverse logistics flows from suppliers and manufacturers, including disposals and material decommissioning.
  • Continuously optimise flows, lead times and logistics costs through kaizen and lean methodologies, aligned to business needs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and provide clear reporting on logistics KPIs and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in industrial/management or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years’ progressive experience in production logistics or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven knowledge and hands‑on application of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Strong competency in inventory management, production feeding/planning and warehouse operations.
  • Practical experience with SAP for logistics/warehouse modules and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Fluent English; French language skills are a strong asset.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Experience

At least 10 years of experience in production or logistics roles with progressive managerial responsibility, ideally within luxury goods, footwear or leather-goods manufacturing.
