Louis Vuitton Logistics Engineer internship in Cergy, France: 6-month role optimizing warehouse operations with focus on continuous improvement and automation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Establish connections between supply chain forecasting data and warehouse occupancy rates to optimize storage utilization
- Define product placement zones and storage location strategies within the warehouse
- Provide technical support and guidance to the inventory management team
- Analyze current operational flows across reception, storage, picking, and shipping processes
- Assess and quantify resource requirements based on forecasted demand and operational capacity
- Evaluate multiple improvement solutions and quantify operational gains in areas such as mechanization, automation, and space optimization
- Contribute to the development of comprehensive technical, functional, and safety specifications documents
- Support vendor consultation, tender evaluation, and competitive market analysis for logistics solutions
- Identify optimization opportunities for management tools (Excel, Power BI, Infolog) and streamline existing processes
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering program
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Competency in Power BI
