Louis Vuitton, Shanghai — Legal Counsel. Provide in‑house legal support for LV and Berluti China, managing contracts, disputes and regulatory matters.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day in‑house legal support to retail operations for Berluti China and Louis Vuitton China, including product quality issues, authority inquiries and customer complaints.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and related agreements (leases, assignments, service agreements, financing, letters of intent, settlements, IT, consulting, construction) for cross‑border retail operations.
- Support litigation and arbitration matters, including case preparation, evidence review and coordination with external counsel.
- Advise on ad hoc regulatory matters such as authority inspections, serious customer complaints and vendor disputes; prepare and review legal documentation for these matters.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external law firms and other professional advisers; ensure timely, commercially pragmatic legal solutions.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years' legal experience in a reputable law firm or in‑house legal department; experience handling commercial litigation/arbitration.
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and retail/real‑estate related contracts; retail or property industry experience is an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of the PRC legal system, including commercial law, civil law, consumer protection, cyber security and data privacy, and e‑commerce regulations.
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a top university; Master degree and overseas study or work experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proactive, pragmatic and solution‑oriented; strong command of Mandarin and English (French advantageous).

Education
