Role & Responsibilities
- Repair handbags, wallets, luggage and other leather goods from start to finish in accordance with Louis Vuitton quality specifications
- Perform sewing, painting and cutting operations as required by the repair
- Operate and maintain manual tools and equipment used in the repair process
- Examine finished products to verify conformance to quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area and report any discrepancies to the supervisor
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and identify opportunities to enhance processes
- Work independently and communicate effectively within a team to meet production targets
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet department goals
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Pass manual dexterity / sewing test
- 0–3 years of experience in a similar repair or sewing role
- Knowledge of sewing on leather and canvas preferred
- Detail-, quality- and safety-oriented with strong manual dexterity
- Ability to work overtime as required by business demands
