Role & Responsibilities

  • Participate, under the supervision of a designated tutor, in the manufacture of Louis Vuitton iconic and runway soft‑goods products.
  • Operate a range of sewing and leather‑specific machinery (flatbed, cylinder‑arm, post‑bed sewing machines) and specialist equipment such as skiving, edge‑colouring and colouring machines.
  • Work with diverse materials — leather, canvas, reinforcements and metal fittings — to assemble components and final products.
  • Contribute across the full soft‑goods production process: cutting, preparation of signature elements, mounting and finishing.
  • Adhere to Maison quality standards and production targets, ensuring meticulous finish and consistency on every piece.
  • Maintain workplace safety, machine housekeeping and basic preventive maintenance of assigned equipment.
  • Engage in on‑the‑job learning, adopt best practices from tutors and integrate feedback to progress technical proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an apprenticeship program: CAP Maroquinier, Bac Pro Maroquinier, Titre Piqueur en Maroquinerie or equivalent.
  • Strong manual dexterity and affinity for precise, handcrafted work.
  • Team‑oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work to targets.
  • Rigorous, responsive and quality‑driven approach to tasks.
  • Willingness to work shift patterns (morning or afternoon) and to commit for the full duration of the apprenticeship.
