Louis Vuitton seeks a Leather Goods Apprentice in Juilley/Ducey (Normandy) — 1–2 year alternance starting Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the team leader to participate in the manufacture of Louis Vuitton leather goods and emblematic models.
- Operate a variety of sewing equipment including flat‑bed, cylinder‑arm and post‑bed sewing machines, and other specialised machines as required.
- Assemble components using leather, coated canvas and metal fittings, following precise cutting, stitching and assembly instructions.
- Adhere to the Maison’s quality standards at every stage of production and perform basic quality checks on finished items.
- Maintain an organised, safe workstation and follow established machine care and housekeeping procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and the Maison’s environmental objectives by minimizing waste and respecting material handling guidelines.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Leather Goods vocational programme (CAP, Bac Pro or Titre Professionnel).
- Manual dexterity and genuine interest in hands‑on craftsmanship.
- Strong attention to product quality and detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a production team; punctuality and rigour required.
- Environmental awareness and commitment to the Maison’s sustainability initiatives.

Entry‑level — suitable for beginners and students. No prior professional experience required; previous practical experience in leatherwork or vocational training is an advantage.

Enrolled in a Leather Goods qualification (CAP, Bac Pro or Titre Professionnel).
