Louis Vuitton in Issoudun, France is hiring a Leather Goods Apprentice (alternance) for a 1–2 year programme starting Sept 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the manufacturing of Louis Vuitton leather goods under the supervision of the team leader, participating in one or more stages of production.
  • Operate and maintain production equipment including sewing machines and colouring machines.
  • Prepare, cut and assemble materials — leather, canvas and exotic skins — and fit metal components to complete models.
  • Follow product-specific quality standards and assist in inspection and finishing operations to ensure conformity.
  • Work collaboratively within the production team to meet production schedules and continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or preparing a leather goods qualification (CAP, Bac Pro, CQP, Titre professionnel or equivalent).
  • Strong manual dexterity and a demonstrable interest in handcrafted leather products.
  • Sense of product quality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
