Louis Vuitton in Rome seeks a Learning Manager to lead store training and coaching, enhance client experience and support team development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver in-store coaching and training across the assigned Rome network to embed brand culture, values and product knowledge.
- Implement local execution of corporate learning strategy and the learning progression, aligning initiatives with commercial objectives and sales targets.
- Observe client-facing interactions on the shop floor and provide individual coaching using active listening and questioning techniques to develop staff performance.
- Support Team and Store Managers to develop their coaching capabilities and create individual development plans for high-potential employees.
- Liaise with Corporate/EMEA and country HR on training projects, onboarding of newcomers and proactive workforce planning.
- Design and deliver product training and launch briefings in collaboration with Merchandising; monitor training quality and impact through follow-up and shop-floor observation.
- Facilitate sharing of best practices between stores and provide ongoing feedback to Store Managers and HR on team progress.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of professional experience, including demonstrable experience in a managerial role.
- Proven background in learning, training or L&D within retail—preferably luxury fashion or leather goods.
- Fluent spoken and written Italian and English.
- Strong presentation and training delivery skills with the ability to use varied facilitation techniques.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and proven ability to influence stakeholders at store and corporate level.
- Availability and flexibility to travel across the assigned store network.
Skills
Experience
Minimum five years of professional experience with prior managerial responsibility and a solid track record in learning and training, ideally within luxury retail. Experience delivering shop-floor coaching, onboarding, product launch training and partnering with store leadership and HR to drive behavioral change is required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Education or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; postgraduate qualification in L&D or HR is a plus.
