Louis Vuitton La Fabrique du Temps seeks a Lead Polisher in Geneva to manage polishing operations and mentor team in luxury watchmaking finishing techniques.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage work planning and task distribution for the polishing workshop based on team capabilities and production priorities
  • Lead new product launches and communicate specifications to the team to ensure efficient production ramp-up
  • Mentor polishers to improve efficiency and quality in their assigned tasks
  • Define finishing processes and coordinate with dedicated teams to specify required tooling and equipment
  • Execute various preparation and finishing techniques for watch case components and habillage pieces
  • Conduct visual quality inspections of components according to established quality criteria
  • Manage polishing of limited-edition and bespoke watch cases in coordination with adjacent workshops
  • Demonstrate autonomy and adaptability on unique and exceptional projects
  • Identify and implement proactive solutions for non-conformities in collaboration with the team and management
  • Enforce all applicable safety standards and protocols within the workshop, including proper use of personal protective equipment, machinery, and ventilation systems

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in finishing and polishing luxury watch components
  • Demonstrated experience with complex habillage pieces across multiple luxury brands and subcontracting environments
  • Previous experience supervising or leading a production team
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Genuine passion for artisanal craftsmanship and finishing techniques

Experience
