Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate two Product Managers dedicated to knitwear and jersey.
  • Define and pilot the raw‑material purchasing strategy for knitwear and jersey in line with LVMH LIFE targets, the Artistic Direction and collection briefs.
  • Monitor market and technical innovations in material reuse and sustainable fibres.
  • Develop, refine and ennoble knitwear and jersey materials; create, launch and follow product dossiers with manufacturers.
  • Negotiate production prices and secure target margins for collections.
  • Ensure pre‑industrialisation of products and proactively plan quality testing with the production engineering office and quality team.
  • Coordinate developments with counterpart product teams (made‑to‑order/outsourced) to maintain cross‑collection visibility.
  • Manage prototyping invoicing and collection budgets, providing estimated cost outcomes at each prototype round.
  • Own the development calendar and key milestones for knitwear and jersey collections.

Qualifications

  • Minimum eight years' experience in knitwear and jersey product development.
  • Proven experience in managing and coaching a small product team.
  • Strong technical knowledge of knitwear/jersey construction, materials and finishing processes.
  • Solid understanding of factory/atelier operations and production constraints.
  • Track record of commercial negotiation and margin management.
  • Excellent cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management skills; strong interpersonal presence and leadership.
  • Proactive, highly organized and detail‑oriented.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
  • Proficient with pack office and PLM systems.
